Pastor Jim Lyons

Pastor Lyons began his ministry as a youth and associate pastor at Oakside Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia. During that time, he earned a degree in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University. He entered full-time pastoral ministry in 2009 at Open Bible Baptist Church in East Palatka, Florida, then pastored Friendship Baptist Church in Perry, Florida, from 2013 to 2017. Since February 2017, he has served as the pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama.

Jim and his wife, Tracy, were married in 1985 and have three grown children - Katie Danna (married to Connor Danna), Matt Lyons, and Abby McKinney (married to Ben McKinney) and one precious grandson, Carson Danna.
